Default Firewire and SCSI converters.....

Just curious if anyone has tried the Firewire
to scsi converters?
I know Orange Micro makes one that is
Fast+narrow scsi for $100.
Seems like it might work for a reasonable track count(maybe not 64!!)
any thoughts??
any real experiences?
