Question Using HD hardware with regular PT 10

If this thread already exists I'm very sorry but ive been searching and can find it. maybe point it too me?

I just recently starting working at a school that had a HD system THAT NO ONE HAS USED IN AGES!!! (I'm not sure what one but it has a 96io) I ran Digicheck (although now digicheck just crashes!!!) and it passed but still didn't tell me what version. The school's IT department updated the tower to Lion so of course the original TDM 7.4 soft didn't work.
I purchased a copy of PT10 for my 002r system (not PT10HD I wish I could but cant yet)
I also installed it on the schools comp. I downloaded the HD hardware drivers from avid and installed them. It shows up connected to the PT aggregate window. how ever I cannot use the PCI system in the aggregate or find the HD hardware under hardware set up. It says on the website that the TDM hardware is supported doesn't it? can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Ive tried holding down N when starting up PT but still doesn't show up. any idears?

thanks!!!

HD hardware will not work with regular PT10. It must see HD10 on the Ilok license. Officially, HD10 is not sold without hardware, but you can probably get a license from someone here on the forums or on Ebay.
