Had to bite on that one.
I was looking at it, it's a good plugin but having SSL Flexverb I can get away pretty easy with similar results.

Burned out on it over at Gearslutz; I guess nobody here cares about it. I'd demoed it when it first came out and while the sound is decent I don't like what it does to correlation. The latter has been verified by at least one other person over on GS so it's not my imagination or metering. NO sale here for me.

I'm waiting to see if Phil's Cascade gets discounted. I'm already eligible to get it for $99 US because I already have VSM3. My $50 voucher would cut that in half. I'll wait until the end of the month to see what else comes up I don't already have

Wouldn't mind seeing Black Box HG2 get discounted

Thanks Jack!, I like it because it's cleaner than most emulations I have but then I could use any digital eq. I have already more dirt boxes than I use but I'd still love getting those two you mention, hopefully they also put on sale that red guitar amp or the bassman too!

You'll like Bassdude. There are differences between the inputs so that alone is worth trying. And it's not just for basses either. Does something wonderful in filling out a thin Rhodes or Wurlitzer sound.

The HG2 is one of the very few plugs I own that I feel fully confident enough to suggest to anyone. It would make my desert island top-x type of list.

I wish I had he time yesterday to test-drive the EQ. By the time I decided to throw caution to the wind, as is common for me to do, I discovered I was too late. doh!!!

I do need to test drive that Maag comp for use with my Voucher. Other than that, it might be 2 straight months of no voucher use. Not that it's a bad thing.....

The Bassman is my favourite guitar amp, I have a HR Deluxe 2X12 which can sound pretty similar to both the Bassman and the Twin Reverb

I like that PA apparently sampled the 2X12 piggyback version head - that was more common than the original one that just about everyone else models/samples. There's an amp that no one models/samples and that's the 2x12 piggyback Bandmaster - I want that.

If they did they probably also sampled different cabs through different eqs and preamps so probably there are a few variations of the 4x10 cab, I haven't checked tho

Got it a while back Andrei. Lovely piece of kit. It's on 2 bus duty for a lot of the rap stuff I mix. Great on guitars and bass too.

I have not experienced any 'correlation issues', not with 'normal', stereo use anyway.

I tested the 2098 in Jack's M/S scenario and I could reproduce the correlation meter drifting towards and into negative values only when I applied huge boosts to the Side signal without compensating for gain. I believe this is expected behavior, messing with the Side in such a way and all.

Holding on to my voucher for Bassdude's sake!
