Ignore errors is a lethal feature during recording though and can leave you with all sorts of clicks pops and dropouts without notice until you listen to the funky recording :)

Yeah, I didn't care much about this feature until I ended up with a recording with glitches.
I think I'd have PT stop and get informed about the hiccup than just hoping :) I'm used to Samplitude in which a marker is automatically created in case of a buffer undderrun during recording. Pretty nice feature if you don't want the recording to be stopped completely like with PT.

I agree. It shouldn't happen if you are well prepared and know your system but sometimes it inevitably happens and you don't notice the errors until you start mixing the track.

There's been some good additions. The most recent ones before this were great. I don't think I could use a version without the plugin search function unless I was desperate

The multi-input bug in Audio-suite is also still broken. I'd hate to be a company that make plugins where you can't rely on the DAW to do correct offline processing.

I don't see they have fixed Zoom Toggle (E) not bringing the track to the visible area.

I'm getting drastically worse performance than .7.
Midi editor opens as score editor for some reason...
Audio dropouts

This will be the last year with avid, been using protools since version 4. You've forced me to look at other options, I like what I've seen. I've spoken to other engineers and producers and the feeling is mutual. $400 a year is just too much!

From the list of box fixes etc I don't really see the point of most users updating. Mind you, I say this as someone who only updated to 2018.7 last week.
