Default 2018.4 major pan bug
Anyone getting panning issues on 5.1 tracks. Getting the Front and rear pans wrong. I pan something left front to Centre to right front and the automation doesn't playback and stays right and the rear automation in the pan window moves instead.

It's got a yellow "position" dot instead of red if that's a clue. Pan SAFE Mode was on on a system that it was tracklayed on. Never know that existed.

Yellow means automation in is either off or suspended. Check you automation enables window.
