Emagic Unitor 8 and LTC

Hi,

I have a problem regarding the syncronization of Pro Tools 6.4 via Emagic Unitor 8 using LTC. The sync via MTC is working but I just can't do the setup for LTC. Can somebody help me pls?

Exactly what are you hoping to do?

FWIW, you can't synchronize PT to anything using LTC with a Unitor 8, because the Unitor 8 does not in any way resolve your Digidesign clock to time code.

The LTC in the Unitor 8 is pretty much only for synchronizing MIDI sequencer playback to a time code. That's what it was designed to do. If you need to synchronize digital audio playback, you need different equipment.

Hi Lee,

Thanks for your answer but by the time a I've got it working. I'm syncronizing a Tascam DA-88 Hi8 deck with Pro Tools using LTC and it works just fine.
