Error commuicating with digishoetool - please help

AIR instruments are strange creatures… I installed structure and strike yesterday, and had no errors in Pro Tools 11. but other VI, like loom and velvet are very problematic. as soon as I instantiate them in my session, I'm only a few minutes away from a crash. pretty unusable!

i'm having exactly the same issue with the DigiShoeTool - permissions keep changing to read-only. once i fix it, the problem and error go away. i actually just put an alias on my desktop so i can "Show Original" quickly without having to deep-dive into folders.

this seems to happen when i launch and use 11 and then go back to 10. in fact, it happens every time i do that. drag.

Try Trashing Prefs after you fix the permissions issue.. Works for me
