xpand preset
Is there a way to know which preset you have chosen in Xpand? It doesn't seem to say on the gui and it does not seem to mark it in the list of presets.

Re: xpand preset
I'm having trouble understanding the question.
The presets you choose at the top are usually an instrument with certain settings already tweaked, along with some effects programmed. When you choose each individual instrument on A - D, you are only selecting the instrument. Then Xpand! allows you to add your own settings, such as two different effects sends, an arpegiator, and then individual instrument settings (ASDR) at the top of the GUI. Is the GUI not showing something? I'm a little confused with what you are asking. If you want, post a screen cap of Xpand! so we can see what's going on. (mac: cmd + shift + 3; windows: prnt screen, then open paint and press control + V and save that image).

Re: xpand preset
I think he means the name of the actual preset....not the different layers in that preset.

Re: xpand preset
Hi everyone, thanks for all the replies and sorry for not being more clear. Here is my problem. You select a preset (say +01 Aeronaut from the 01 Soft Pads Collection). You save your session. Next time when you open the session your preset will of course still be loaded but nowhere on the GUI of xpand does it say which preset it is. It still says <factory default> and in the list of presets, in the case of the example Aeronaut is not ticked or highlighted. Now if you want to use that same preset in another session the only way to find out which one it was is by painstakingly going through the lists, calling them up one by one until the right one appears again. I know I can manually write it down as a preset of the session, but I really do not think this is the intention.
