Maxim Plugin (factory Bundle) not working

The Maxim plugin that came with my LE Factory Bundle has never loaded properly. Originally, Pro Tools would simply hang on launch whenever the plugin was installed.

I have tried all the suggestions - trashed preferences, reloaded everything - and th eonly outcome has ben that I've had to re-authorize all my other plugins.
Maxim now asks for an authorization number (nothing came with the Bundle). I have the option of going to the website and paying for the authorization. (Which I don't understand, as I already bought the Bundle).

Has anyone found out a method that works? If I have to trash preferences or reinstall again, I will have to pay for new authorization numbers for the various plugins I already bought.

I have been holding off on upgrading Pro Tools LE 6.4 until I can get Maxim to work. Otherwise it seems a waste to pay more for something when I still haven't got th eplugins I paid for to work.
