Student purchase included 4yrs of releases never got Pro Tools 12

I have a support ticket in regards to this because I am in the same boat as you. They said they are still processing the edu products so we just need to wait and hopefully we will get it soon.

I notice its been over 3 weeks since the release of Protools 12, has any one receive anything official from Avid about the free upgrades for students who are on the 4 years of free upgrades deal. I notice everyone on the threads saying that they are still processing and all, but has anyone actually received a email or have it in there account yet? really how long does this process take?

Nope, nothing other then being told they are still processing them. That was about a week ago.

Last time, when PT11 was released, a lot of users (me included) never recieved their upgrades and hade to go to this forum and ask the Avid staff to send the upgrade information manually. Makes me a bit worried.

At lease a notice email to hold on would be nice.

Still in progress, but note that eligibility is based on your date of purchase and the release date(s) of subsequent versions. So if PT12's release (3/23/2015) is within 4 years of your original Student/Edu purchase (when we were including 4 years of free upgrades) then you will get a PT12 upgrade.

Once we complete the batch processing, eligible customers will find the upgrade listed in the Products Not Yet Downloaded section of their accounts.

I am still eligible, but can't find any e-mail about it nor I see anything new in my avid accound.. Did you get free upgrade for you student editions?

I actually received mines last night it was in my Products to be downloaded tab. It ask for my iLok info, At first it didn't work it gave me an error but after a few hours it went through. I was able to get PT 12 on my ilok account and started the download process. But I go to finish Downloading this morning and once again theres no sign of PT 12 in my account, it disappeared. I do still have my ilok confirmation so hopefully its just a server issue or something.
