Default Buckbeak Flies in Pro Tools 11

I set myself a project back in April to see just how far I could push Pro Tools 11 in doing large-scale orchestral mockups with virtual instruments, and I thought I would share the results with the DUC. If you follow the link to my blog post you can download the final session (minus the audio files) or the 5.1 version.

Part of the reason it took me so long was in figuring out how to get a good reverb to work (my favorite, Altiverb, just came out for PT11 this week). I wanted it to be all midi, but I ended up bouncing a lot of the tracks as audio files to avoid pops and clicks and also to be able to use HEAT on them.

Anyway, if you're interested here is the link to the blog post.

And here is the link to the wav file of the stereo version.
