Pro Tools 11 working on Mac Pro 1,1 in 10.7.5
I know this is not an approved system, but since I can't make a satellite of PT10 on a PT11 Administrator I had to find another machine to use as a Satellite. I tried my Mac Mini 4,1, but that is also not approved, and even after upgrading to 16GB of RAM it would still not display picture.
I then installed Pro Tools 11 on my Mac Pro 1,1 in Lion. So far, knock on wood, it's working fine. I'm not going to stress it out, probably not ever going to use it for audio, but it does work as a Video Satellite.
