Default PT11 today? No way! Later? Absolutely.

I don't want to "blame the victim" here but anyone who upgrades to PT11 today without a compelling "must do it" reason is crazy.

With all the trouble PACE is having with the iLok stuff this is not the time to do the upgrade.

Not saying you shouldn't eventually - I know I'm going to upgrade my system in a couple weeks if everything settles down.

Best of luck,
dave

A lot of us have had the PT11 assets in our iLoks for over a month now. But I guess if you like some emotion to go along with your day go ahead and get yourself an upgrade today :).

I bought it today, transferred the ilok asset using the new manager and have successfully downloaded and started the program. The only real drawback I see is the lack of plugins.

I sorted my iLok issues out earlier this week and it's working fine now. My only reason to hold off is to wait for the third party developers to start pushing out 64-bit AAXs.

Pace cleared up all my iLok problems yesterday. I'm good to go. And with the ability to boot into 10 or 11, I don't see much of a downside to loading up 11. If it doesn't work to your satisfaction, boot into 10.

Plugs missing is the only problem
