Default Plugins that are questionable with HDN

It would be great to have a list of plugs that you find by trial/error having to remove more often because of 90xx errors

for me
Kontakt
Waves Rev IR
[any IR revs work?]

I use the McDsp plugs with no issue.

Which Waves IR ??

IR 1, L or 360 ????

I depend heavily on the L and 1, with the entire response library from waves, as well as many from others, and many of my own

And what the crap... what happened to the IRx ??? replaced with the L ? I fail to see a difference outside the name.... anyway.... just an observation... musta killed it along the version line somewhere

Which ones? RTAS or have you tried with AAX Native (if the plug is AAX native yet)?

Does anyone know if HDn allows you to run a given plugin / VI as a separate process?

I ask because several problem plugs mentioned above (Kontakt, Ozone) are known to cause issues on other platform as as well. (cpu or ram spiking, I guess) In Reaper, one can assign such questionable plugins to separate processes, which makes them 100% stable.

So, possible or no?

So in this way Reaper is more refined (and modern code) than our beloved old standby... How funny is that.

Ive been forced to Ableton just for VI... as even a single instrument can get wacky in HDN... really... im in PT9 as the $800 10 upgrade was a final straw for my 12+ year relations.

Dear Avid
since the advent of mp3/spotify/ etc. Pro audio in the music making/recording world"s margins are slim to non-existant, Please put that in your business plan, next meeting.
thx
