Go to your ilok license manager and activate(re-activate) your license. I had the same problem and did this, fixed it no problem. This is probably going to be how Avid keeps you from updating without paying the yearly subscription fee.

Make sure you activate (re-activate) your license in the ilok license manager or you will be in no go land.

Tried deactivating-reactivating with no luck.. still the same problem!

Meaning move the license off the iLok, back to the account, then back onto the iLok? Just the perpetual bundle, or the HD Plan license as well?

No, just right click on the license and choose "activate". I am on vanilla, but my guess is that they are doing this for all of their ilok protected products.

You probably just shuffled your old license around. Try right clicking on the license and choosing activate again.

When I right clicked on the Perpetual Bundle and clicked Activate, a dialog window popped up, but Select a Location was empty and the Activate button was greyed out. Maybe I need to update ILM? Anyway, I Deactivated back to my account and Reactivated back to my iLok, and that worked. Hello Atmos!

Default PT 12.8 iLok license not up to date??

Hello,

Just upgraded my PT to the newly released 12.8. I probably should have waited but I am between projects. Just upgrade from 12.7.1 on OS 10.12.4, and got a notification that my iLok license is not allowed to run the newest 12.8. I am on a yearly subscription which should only end in March of 2018. Please let me know how I can remedy this. Thank you!

This worked on my HD system. Will try it on my Vanilla home system in a few hours.
