Default PT update from 12.4 - 12.8 iLok issue

I installed PT 12.8 after running 12.4 for the past couple years and when I open Pro Tools I get a message to activate my iLok. I click activate and get a message that I have no active licenses. However, according to my Pro Tools account I have a current (perpetual) PT 12 license, which also shows up in my iLok manager. I updated to the latest iLok manager, but Pro Tools still won't open. Any suggestions?

Pro Tools 12.4, Digi 003 Factory, Waves Gold 9.2, Izotope RX6, Waves GTR, Sampletank 3, Mac Mini late 2012 OS 10.9.5, Focusrite OctoPre MKII Mackie Big Knob
