Default LCD Monitor Arms

Just wondering if anyone had a recommendation on a good LCD monitor arm for a 20 inch WS monitor. We are getting a D-Command and positioning the monitor will require it to be floating on an arm. We also need it to be able to tilt pretty far, at least 45 degrees.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check out the monitor arms made by Innovative Office Products. I have the Arcview dual-monitor arm, and it does a beautiful job of supporting my dual 19" LCDs. Once you get the gas shocks dialed in, just a light touch is required to reposition the monitors. It includes all hardware necessary to mount the base in a variety of ways. Not cheap, but well built.

Mondo, check http://www.ergoindemand.com/lcd_mount_articulating.htm. I actually use 2 of these with my D Control. When I'm editing I wanted 2 monitors (20's). I went to the local hardware store and found some pipe that was the same diameter as the pipe Spacedec gives you for a single arm, only longer. I was then able to install 2 of the Spacedec monitor arms, and they can be adjusted to pretty extreme angles. The 2 20's take up alot of real estate for getting to the center section, but for me when cutting its fine, as I'm usually just reaching for faders. When I mix, I move the monitors back to get to the joy sticks and other features.

cheers

Hey there,

I also purchased a dual monitor articulating arm from innovative office products to float 2 19" LCD's above a Neve 8232 and it worked out great.

how about triple monitors? I'm looking for one that allows forward/backwards, upwards/downwards as well as angle tilting.

Any good ones?
Thanks!

I have one of their arms for a 20" studio display that I don't think I need anymore. Email me if you are interested.
