Default new mbox 2 newbie question

statement then question: my mbox2 mini is dead. can I buy a used mbox2, plug it in and start recording onto pro tools 8 that I already have? will pro tools software recognize the new device and start without any issues? appreciate any input!

Ok nick, so you're saying that I can plug in anything from the mbox2 mini to the most expensive piece of hardware that Digi sells and they will work across the board?

No,
I´m saying that you can plug in any recent mbox, or 003..
HD Interfaces normally won´t be recognized by LE..

ok, sorry you answered my question. I wasn't even thinking about the HD stuff, just whatever hardware that was designed with LE in mind was what I had been thinking of. thanks!
