Bounce to Disk confusion PT 12.
Hi, I am totally confused by the Bounce to Disk options offered on my PT system (12.8.1)
I am trying to do a simple LR bounce (with Bus and Master inserts) to get a project up to typical Mastering levels. I do this all the time though I haven't used PT in a few months. I expect to see a Bounce Source pull down menu so I can indicate O/P 1-2 (for example) as opposed to the Track Source, which is not what I want. Thinking I am losing my mind, I went online and ALL the instructions say to look for this pull down menu. There simply isn't this option anymore. Its not like its blank or greyed out, it simply ISN'T THERE. I see it in the pulldown menu in the QT Bounce option but (obviously) I don't want a QT Movie. For reference, I tried the QT Bounce and the levels are what I would expect. Where did this pull down option go? Has this workflow changed recently? What am I missing here? All I want is to render my Master OP to an audio file and it seems I can't anymore. Please help. thx |

Re: Bounce to Disk confusion PT 12.
There is track bounce which is different from session bounce. For session bounce I normally just select in the edit window the length I want to bounce then in the mix window right click on the Master faders output assignment which brings up the bounce to disk box that should have the options you are looking for. The track bounce works similarly as you can right click in the particular tracks output button.
