Default Electrcity problems?

Hi!, I'm having electricity problems in mi 003 rack +.
It happens in two of the three places where I mix.
Several times, while mixing, when a switch light is turned on or off in one of these places, Ptools crashes with H/W buffer size errors (and is to max), or other strange 0x00008nnnn errors, but only in this case, switching on or off a light in home or muy grildfriends home.
Both homes have a non old electricity system...
May be the digi003 power supply have a problem?
I have a new mac book pro with full battery.

Any suggestion?
Thanks!,

Lonestars

Don't touch the light switch. It doesn't sound like 003. Sounds like you need to call an electrician.

+1 on the electrician visit. I highly recommend a UPS or a high end power conditioner that not only protect against surges but one that actually keep the voltage at the proper levels. In other words it prevents voltage overages as well as (more importantly) prevents voltage underages by augmenting the electrical voltage with back-up batteries or capacitors when needed. It iwll cost you some scratch but it will be better than replacing the 003 and any other equipment you are using.

At the very least spend a few bucks for a circuit tester to make sure stuff is wired right and then a simple digital multimeter to see if the the supply volts are at least between 110 and 130. If not ---work somewhere else. Clean power really helps
