MIDI Keyboard Help

Hey, just got a new MIDI controller / Keyboard (novation remote 61SL) that I have hooked up to the computer (using a 003) through USB. All the cotrols work fine, I ca use the controlller as intended, just have a problem that I cannot get my head around:

The actual keyboard works when I record MIDI information onto a track and plays back fine, but I cannot audition the MIDI coming into the track either before or when recording.

I have tried running it through a few different but it is properly patched up (I think). I just can't get sound when pressing the keys, only after it is recorded when I press play.

HELP ANYONE?

Do you have "Midi Thru" enabled?

I think it's in the "Options" dropdown.

You're a savior... I can't believe it was such a simple thing...You'd think that after 4 years of using protools I'd know that (although I'm pretty new to the MIDI thing, been dealing mainly with audio before)>
