Mbox: updating from 5.3.3
Alright, homies, I've been holding off on updating for a while now because frankly, it's a little scary Especially when I was seeing posts from mobo mofos who were having problems with their upgrade. But now that you guys are all salivating over this 6.4 I'm feeling the urge to take the leap. Except that you've gotta have 6.1 to do that. But to get the 6.1 you need 6.0. Problem is, I can't find a 6.0 update for PC users, only for Mac! (grumblegrumblegrumble) But I know there are PC mboxers who use this forum who have version 6 software. Surely there is an update available for me somewhere, somehow. Don't tell me I'm forever relegated to 5.3.3 purgatory while the rest o' youz fly off into update bliss! Obviously I'm missing something and it wouldn't be the first time. Now if I could just remember where I left my frontal lobe...

Bad news, Tony, you have to buy it. To the tune of $75. Digistore
They will be including 6.4 with the 6.x upgrade if you want to wait until May. Or you can just order the 6.x upgrade disk now, or look for it at your local GC, and then download 6.4 when you get it.

If you didn't have the need to upgrade to 6.1 then you shouldnt feel the need to upgrade to 6.4, the only reason people were ''salivating'' over it is cause, well, its an upgrade! But I think you should definitley upgrade to 6.1 then get the free 6.4 upgrade. Good Luck!

Re: Mbox: updating from 5.3.3
Alright, so how many of you mobixers out there got version 6 and so on and are happy with it. I've read some fairly disturbing threads about problems with Mbox and 6.1.1. And I don't wanna replace my Studebaker with a new Ferrari if the Ferrari's gonna keep breaking down and stuff, ya dig?
