Default BFD Lite

Hey,
What's with the grooves in BFD? I have auditioned all of them in the styles that I'm interested in and well... they're fairly groove free
Am I supposed to edit them in some way to make them usable? I can't even find one that just uses hi hat, snare and base drum.

2nd question:
I have created an instument track and chosen BFD as an insert, then draged one of the grooves to the track. Is it then possible to edit it? I read a thread on using a MIDI track instead but then I can't figure out how to create an instance of BFD as there are no insert options of course.

Any help will be appreciated!

Dan

Yes, you can use the pencil tool to draw in notes as well as cut, copy & paste selections.

An instrument track is a midi & aux track combined. You can create a seperate midi & aux track, inserting BFD on the aux track to achieve what an instrument track does.

Thanks for the info.

I'll give the pencil tool a try. Am I supposed to see anything on the track after I drag and Drop, because I don't, hence my confusion as how to 'edit' the groove I've just plopped on the track.
Oh, and is it just me with the strange grooves? I really haven't found anything resembling a 'normal' goove!

I'll also give the midi, aux track combo a try.

thanks,
Dan
