Default save session copy in doesn\'t work access privilege

pro tools 6.4 tdm
os 10.3.2
rebuild permissions

when I do "save session copy in"
it works at first writing audiofiles to desination drive
but the an error comes up
COULD NOT SAVE A COPY IN COPY OF SESSION BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY ACCESS PRIVILEGES (-5000)

I did rebuild permissions and that had no effect
please help
I have to move this session to another system

thanks

an expert did this:

go to the finder an select your drive..... choose "get info"

go to ownership & permissions / details

set everything to read/write and ownership to you

it's worth a try!

First of all you should "search the Answerbase". There is a link at the top of the page . . . enter "-5000" and you will find a few clues like this.

Some other things you could try.

Choose the drive/s in question and (as long as it's not a startup drive) select the box "Ignore ownership on this volume".

Also check in the workspace browser that the drive is Labelled R under the A and V columns.

Finally (and this is my best guess since it seems one or more files in your session is causing this problem) choose the project folder in the finder, Get Info on that folder. Look at the details of the ownership, and click Apply to enclosed items.

HTH, jim
