I own 11 and 12 and I found 11.3.2 in my account. Did not see it until I read this post.

Is there any surprise there's been no one from Avid (DTS or whomever else or even one of the moderators) on this 'phased rollout' of PT11.3.2? And I doubt we'll hear anything from them because here in the US it's Labor Day holiday weekend and a lot of people like to take of early from work to try and beat the traffic. That and people in general don't put a lot of back into it on Fridays to begin with.

That's a good observation. I'll keep a tab on this thread as I do not see anything in regards to an update for 11.3.2.. Keep us updated anyone who hears news on this.

Take a look at the "Technical Alerts" section of the DUC - there is no formal announcement of 11.3.2 yet.

It seems that they're trying to "stealth release" this in the same way that they "stealth announced" it, amongst the S6 v2 press release.

You can understand why - many of the things that got broken in 11.3.1 are fixed in 12.1 onwards. Avid are simply trying to persuade 11 owners that the only way to fix the show stoppers, like Field Recorder workflow, is to buy in to 12.

It won't work. The community will simply find a way to distribute it themselves.

Avid - surely it would be better to have control over this situation rather than have a load of "under the counter" installs out there?

Unless Avid is digital watermarking the 11.3.2 update to personalize it for each person then all it will take is for some brave soul to put it up on dropbox or some such. There is simply no reason for this stupidity to continue on. Or did Avid backtrack on their 'promise' of free bug fix upgrades within PT11?

No way in Hades am I 'upgrading' to PT12.

should be available to all - no watermarking ... they have never done that before .. would be a bit out of character ... yet to hear if any bug fixes are in 11.3.2 .. patiently still waiting ..

I agree but wouldn't put it past Avid to watermark the download.

At least I have the US Tennis Open to watch.
