11.3.2 for 12 owners only?

Hi Avid,

Please could you explain why ProTools 12 owners have the 11.3.2 update in their Avid accounts, but ProTools 11 owners do not?

Come on, what's the point anyway?

Please distribute it to the people who actually need it - ProTools 11 owners, who need it because 11.3.1 broke field recorder workflow, and Eucon 3.3 broke metering on our Eucon devices.

You haven't even announced it on the DUC. Is this another one of your "accidental" releases? Like the glitch on the video in the webinar yesterday?

I look forward to seeing it in my Avid account (which I have had with you since version 6).

Still not in my account. I'm waiting for the first person to post an open link to the update like has existed before without having to go into one's account. That's assuming Avid hasn't closed that avenue.

How is this even possible? They issue a support release for a product and don't give it to the people using the product. Talk about going off the rails.

You want something very interesting - earlier this morning (Eastern US about 6:30AM) a Google search turned up a couple of hits with regards to PT11.3.2 update and now - nothing.

And still no PT11.3.2 update in my account.

i just checked as well .. looks like we are getting Hosed for not upgrading to 12 .. sounds fair - if you are in a Turkish Prison (no offense)

I'll be surprised if Avid wants to keep doing updates and bug fixes for anything more than 12 at this point. Don't know off hand of any daw company doing updates/bug fixes for anything other than their latest versions.

I own 11 and 12, and I don't have an 11.3.2 update in my account either. So I doubt it's been released "for 12 owners only."

How to account then for those who have it then? Is Avid doing like I mentioned in another thread on this and doing a phased rollout of the update?

How about someone putting the update up on a dropbox account and posting the link? That's assuming Avid isn't doing something like digital watermarking the update to make it specific for each customer

I have 11.3.2 in my account .. It arrived in my account with 12.2
