well i am interested in this as well, I am currently upgrading a backup drive to 10.9.4 and 11.2.1.....

I am doing this as we speak, and btw the program I have is only up till PT10.

I guess PT11 doesn't have a utility program.....

I don't think so

I think I'm going to save a copy of the session in an older PT format and after the warping I'll render and open it back again on the 11...hoping not having to change something back once there...

I've uploaded a screenshot of the problem!
you can see from the pic that I'm in warp view( the darker lines are warp markers) and there's no "little flags" below the lines...

Ah, I see, that's strange. I'll give my stock answer for when you start to see strangeness of this magnitude...do a fresh uninstall/reinstall of PT.

Thank you Michael!

I was considering about reinstalling everything but I'm not sure how to do it since there's not an uninstall option for the software(there's an avid articles on the knowledge base however)...but will I have to reinstall every plugins and saving presets ecc ecc, if I choose to do so?

Ya know, I'm not sure about that. It's been quite some time since I've done a PT-only reinstall. Every other time in recent years that I've done a reinstall it's been a fresh install of the OS as well, so I of course have had to reinstall my plugins. Hopefully someone with more experience with that can chime in here. I hope a reinstall fixes this for ya!

I managed to get Elastic Audio to do something similar to what you're describing, and it's related to Samples and Ticks.

1. Select any audio Clip with material Elastic Audio can analyze (transients, periodic events, etc.). Make sure the Clip's track is set to Samples.

2. Enable Elastic Audio on the Clip.

3. Put the Clip's track in Warp view. Even if there are existing Warp markers in the Clip they will not display-only the Analysis markers appear.

4. Toggle the track to Ticks. The Warp markers will now appear.

5. Toggle back to Samples. The Warp markers will stay.

It's worth a try to see if this method will give you your triangles back. Sorry it's not exactly what you're seeing.

One other thing I noticed from your screen grab: The Track Samples indicator should be a tiny clock with a blue face, and I can't tell from the screen grab if it's blue or not. Probably not important.
