This is really interesting and says a lot about the quality of the stock plugins in PT11. Yes there are some specialist plugs that add the "secret sauce" but "bread and butter" is well provided for within PT11.

Having said that I have used Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 to host virtually every VI and plugin that I have waiting for AAX2. That's UA, Slate, including VBC and SSD4, Spectrasonics etc,.

All of them function really well in PT11 this way. You can even utilise separate outputs within PT11. There's an interesting tutorial here:

Hey man, thanks for the heads up. Does it work in 10 HD as well? I'm still using that for any real work. 11 is still for playing on the laptop at home for now.

I don't know - I still use vanilla. However, I do know that the installers are separate. I would try their phone and chat with them. They are pretty good about getting back to u.

Just wanted to ask why you miss your structure LE as we have that working in PT11HD and you should have it too from the AIR Instrument installer..

Just a sidenote but I wanted to ask if you installed that package.ä

Works great in PT10HD aswell as PT11HD even though it is a BETA release for AAX2 but ya'll know that already

I suspect you mean Structure Free? That's the one included with the AIR Instruments. Structure LE was included with the toolkits and The last I knew it wasn't being ported to AAX.

Yes I installed the AIR Instrument installer but I use AIR Structure LE not Structure Free. Structure LE is on my iLok and still works in Pro Tools 10.3.6 but not in PT11. The problem is you cannot have two versions of Structure installed at the same time so I choose to use Structure LE in PT10 but I might uninstall Structure LE and use Structure Free until AIR ports Structure LE to AAX2 64bit or I buy Structure2 when it comes out.

My bad

I mixed up the LE/free versions as we have Free in PT11HD and Structure version 1.1 from PTIEP so I spoke too soon..
