I feel old now. My first computer was a Commodore 4032 in about 1982. I don't feel grown up yet, and the idea I could be somebody's dad is truly depressing. LOL. Hell, at this point I could be somebody's granddad.

Same here. I still remember those C16, C64, C128 and later on Amiga computers which were godsend back then in the 80's. You could do anything with those "supercomputers" and today every wristwatch out there has more computation power and memory :P

I still have that old Spectrum "computer" and it is really funny that it even today works like a charm if one likes Pixels big as building blocks

Here is the latest answer i could find, straight from waves as of June 22nd 2013.

"As you may know, Avid has just released Pro Tools 11.

Waves is still working closely with Avid to prepare AAX Native support, and expect to achieve full compatibility very soon.

You will be notified via email as soon as Waves AAX Native support is released.

We thank you for your patience and continued support."

It's funny how Waves has been giving the appearance on punishing Avid for AAX. The crazy thing is I haven't used Waves plug-ins in months and don;t miss them at all. Maybe 10 years Waves was important today there are so many options - Now even mercury owners don;t get the new plug-ins anymore.
don;t miss Waves one bit.

Just wondering if WAVES suffered at the mercy of the revised SDK late in the piece. Apparently AAX binaries need to signed by PACE tools. we all know that WAVES changed their copy protection sometime back. So there was an extra hoop to jump through it seems!
