Default plugin categories

ok, new to 6.7 version of protools... not sure why they didnt give me 6.9 when i only bought the 002 rack 2 weeks ago...either or.

the pluggins have a new feature where they are divided into categories... has n e one had the problem of "pluggins not being in their correct categories?" i'm sure there's probably a way to fix that right?

Yes, update your plugins. The plugin categories are controlled at the plugin level, and updating to the newest versions of the plugins should solve that problem.

yea i figured that would be the case... since my plugins are an older version i imagine that updating them now, would basically be buying them again, and i dont have the money to throw down on another bundle pack. if there's n e other ideas feel free to mention them, otherwise thank u.

Pro Tools LE 6.9 is a free update for all PTLE 6.7 owners:
http://www.digidesign.com/download/69/

Also linked from that page are the plug-in updates for Pro Tools 6.7/6.9:
http://www.digidesign.com/download/69/sw.cfm

The Pro Tools 6.7 and 6.9.x releases use the same version of the Digidesign and Digi-distributed plug-ins.
