Default MacOS 9.04

Is the last OS, if 9.04 is the last one, compatible with PT5?

I heard that the Pace USB Floppy Enabler is incompatible with 9.04, so I guess it depends on whether or not your computer has built-in floppy drive or is a new Blue G3 or G4.

I've been using OS9.4 for several weeks with no apparant problems. I have not had a need to use a USB floppy drive to install any new plug-ins and cannot comment on the USB drive issue, so when that time comes, I may regret the OS upgrade. But for the moment, all is well.

You can upgrade to USB enabler 3.3 that lets you use the imation superdisk drive, I had to because my G4/500 came with 9.0.4

I e-mailed PACE and they e-mailed back saying there were definite "issues" with PACE and OS 9.0.4 and to wait till version 2.1 of Interlok which will be released soon. So better watch out! Don't know what the hell a G4/500 owner should do as 9.0.4 is what ships with it?!?
