Default Osx lion

Has there already been a statement from Avid in terms of compatibility for PT 8 & 9?

Hilarious!

To the first poster, Avid usually takes a while to qualify their stuff with new OS's.

By the way, anyone who buys a new Mac from now until Lion comes out will get Lion for free. Just a heads up.

While I'm sure Avid has a Developer Preview of Lion, they really won't say anything until the Gold Master is released. You never know what changes might be made between now and the final candidate.

Then it has to be tested with many different computers and versions of PT. That takes time. Then you have to write new versions of software if something broke. And then you have plug-ins...
