using built in templates in protools 11

hi i hope im not posting in wrong place. i have been using the musician templates r*b tp etc that come with pt 11. i tried building my own but the ones in pt 11 are fine except i need extra externaaaal audio tracks so i just add them to the tp then save it as my own. is this ok to do. i have built tp before but i get the bussing wrong untill lately i built my own template. is there an easier way to add external sound source tracks for my korgs that would be bussed properly with the excisting pt included templates (tp) are the music songwriter templates meant for pt 11 users? thanks for any advice.
