why does my edit window do this [solved]
After 20+ years, PT still manages to throw me curves. Inherited a session. And here's the Edit window with nine miles of Gray. Why the gray?

ugh i can't seem to make the image work. basically, aside of the tracks there is a large expanse of gray before the waveforms start. never happened before.
