newbie question

i know this is a very remedial question but: i just finished installing and registering my protools LE 8.0 After it finished loading up all the windows were open at the home screen; I clicked something and it closed out the primary right window which contains the tracks. I cannot find how to restore the menus to default or which to click so it returns to default. Thoughts?

Welcome to the DUC.

I'm assuming you mean the edit window. To toggle between the edit and mix window, you can use the keyboard shortcut
Command(Apple key) and the "=" key.

On a PC I believe it's CTRL =

Yep, been in the manual for sure. So another issue just popped up. during recording or playback stops and tells me to increase the Buffer Size in the Playback Engine. Issue is i have cycled through each one and the error still comes up. Is my OS not strong enough?
