Bars|Beats AND Min:Secs together?
Is there a way to have the grid in Bars|Beats and also view the time line (have the counter be) in Min:Secs?

Yes..
You can view samples, bars and beats, minutes and second, chords, tempo and key all at the same time and have the counter in Min:Sec. under the "view" drop down you just have to check what you want to see, sometimes I think you can right click where the display is and get the options that way.
