Getting rid of old plugins

Thank you again & again!..I uninstalled all 12.7.1 files, again, upgraded the Ram, downloaded the latest iLok license manager, again, freshly downloaded 12.7.1 and all the AIR installers, not the HD (I misread the release notes) and installed the .dmgs one after the other with no problem, and voila!!! I appear to be back in business :) Yay!

I do have the Apogee Quartet, which bugs out once in a while but is much better overall than the mbox interfaces I have used before.

I still have to figure out which of the other 'included' plugins will work properly, so I will install a few at a time I guess, and I have to figure out where to put EZ Drummer so Pro Tools finds it and see if I can get an upgrade to Strike, but I am very happy to be able to open my old .pts files, make new ones and continue on, making music!

Thank you so, so much for your input on the Ram and potential conflicts with the old files. I found a few more, like Propellerhead files, from the link you included, and also saw that my iLok license manager, though from 10/16, was not the most current one, though I had clicked to download the most recent version it had not installed.

The email response I got from Avid just advised a reinstall which would not have gotten me to this point so you have been invaluable to me. I bought 12.6 in October and have not been able to really use the Software all this time!
