Mbox 2 Line (TRS) Input Gain Control
PT 9.0.5
Mbox 2 Windows 7 Is it correct for the Mbox 2 Line (TRS) Input 1/4-inch to work with the Gain control knob on front panel set at minimum (all the way counter-clockwise)? I'm bringing a line-level signal from a home stereo hi-fi receiver RCA jack into the Mbox 2 Line (TRS) Input 1/4-inch via an RCA <--> TS 1/4 inch adapter cable... and with the Gain control knob at minimum (all the way counter-clockwise), it seems to be getting an ideal recording signal level... |

Re: Mbox 2 Line (TRS) Input Gain Control
If you're getting the ideal level, then it must be correct. If the level were too low, you could turn up the gain to achieve the desired level. If the level were too hot even with the knobs all the way down, you could engage the pads and dial up the gain as needed.
