Default Casio CZ Repair?

Does anyone know who does good repair work on Casio CZ-Series keyboards?

Thanks.

You might check some of the local musical instrument dealers (I don't mean the big chains like Guitar Center). I know here where I live there is a local store, owned and operated by a local family, and they have an excellent electronics guy that repairs all sorts of synths, including the older ones, like a CZ. I'll bet if you check for a dealer like that, they may also have competent repair.

Hello Donald,

Well, I've been asking around locally and checking out leads for some time, but so far I haven't come across anyone who I'd really trust.

You know, a lot of people SAY that they're qualified, but all you need is one shade-tree technician opening up your keyboard and it'll never be the same.

I also wonder about the availability of replacement parts. I know for a long time, Casio was one of the very best companies when it came to getting spare parts - 'don't know about now. It seems like there must be someone who specializes in these things and has a special relationship with parts suppliers.

I'll just keep my eyes and ears open, I guess...

Yes, I know what you mean there. Sorry can't be of much help further. I guess I'm lucky we have a good local guy who knows what he is doing.
