Default ERROR # 6090 FIREWIRE RESET

i am currently tracking using the dual processing G5, digi 002 controller, and the newest version (not the newest newest) of tiger...abruptly during the middle of a session i have been receiving error message #6090 stating that a firewire reset has been detected and i need to re install something or another...i dont have the specific message verbatim but it occurs when nothing has been re inserted or dislodged from any firewire hub yet it continues to interupt sessions erratically....please help!!!!!!
