I crossgraded this week. Was planning to for awhile but was lazy as I didn't have an iLok. Decided to take the plunge. Haven't even had 5 mins with it yet though

I did just today. 9.0.2 release was all i needed to finally do it. Its been a relatively easy upgrade, had a couple of glitched but got them figured out. Now i need to make an Image of my harddrive so I have a backup ready to go. its nice to have PT running through the 11R on my main PC, and run it with no hardware on the laptop. Thinking of getting a Mbox mini so i can jam out while laying in bed with the laptop and Eleven RTAS. Or maybe just get another 11R But i want to go to PT HD Native first.

I sold my 003R, and while the 11R works fine on its own, i will need more inputs again sometime in the future, but for now the 11R is all I need.

If you are on PC, i suggest that you DO NOT install the HFS support unless you are SURE you are going to use it all the time. Everytime I install that it totally f's up my PC. Hooray for Acronis True Image!

Crossgraded to PT9 the second it was released and will do the same with ExP1.
Always try out on my laptop before putting into action on studio machine though

I've been waiting to cross grade because I have to UPGRADE my computer. I'm currently running Windows XP sp3, and I have yet to make the jump to Windows 7.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but PT9 will not work with Windows XP sp3....will it?

Not officially and, really, you'll be glad you upgraded to Windows 7.

Cross graded immediately. Thanks from those of us on the road a lot - who USED to have to drag interfaces around the world to work in it! I can truly work on a plane or in a hotel now. 2 best products of 2010... PT9 and ilok2.

Here's to ERXP being product of 2011.

I cross graded as soon as i could. I'm very happy with PT9, the portability now to do some work on large projects w/o a HW interface is just brilliant.

I picked up the instrument expansion pack with it as well. VERY happy I did so. While limited, strike is still very well done.

Yep , i use Strike all the time. I do use SD2.0 as well.

Just for the record, ERXP will still support XP for 8.0.5 LE and 8.1.1 HD only. I personally find that either XP or Vista are vastly superior to Vista, but Win 7 seems the best overall.
