Pattern Sequencer plugin?

Does anyone make a pattern sequencer plugin for pro tools?

I've been trying to get back into sequencing. Back in the day I used to use an Atari running Creator/Notator. I'm not sure why the pattern based approach was abandoned in the follow up Logic and all other mainstream sequencers. I still think pattern based sequencing is a much more creative way to work on and build songs.

I wish the Logic guys would release Creator/Notator as a plugin. I guess Apple might now own it.

There are a number of different types of pattern sequencers available as Reaktor Ensembles, Reaktor is part of the Native Instruments Komplete Bundle. Of course, you can build your own in Reaktor as well.
