Before you change the plugin parameters, press Cmd/shift/C (don't know the PC shortcut). That copies the settings into clipboard. Do some changes. To get back to the original press Cmd/shift/V.

Also, I highly recommend that you take breaks regularly. That will reset your ears in a way that no undo function can.

Re: Is there a way to undo plugin adjustments just like everything else.
Undo of plugin parameters is possible!
You just have to enable automation to all parameters of your plugs. I myseelf have the preference clicked that all parameters are automation enabled when the plug is inserted. I can easily undo/redo a plug parameter. The edit window says "undo/redo change control window" This helps a lot when a track has no recorded parameter automation on it. Ale

Re: Is there a way to undo plugin adjustments just like everything else.
I just save plugin settings .I find that often they can be a good starting point or before I have the chance to EQ I will use them temporarily. I have never imported a plugin setting just audio or sessions.

Do I have to use the write to end or start. If adjustments are made they recorded as automation are they not . So at that point in the song only then will it automate to the adjustments made. TRUE/ FALSE . Or is it just a automation setting like "write" so it effects the track entirety. This is a good idea could you be more specific about this process please. |

The beauty of importing plugin settings and assignments, is that you can tweak away like a mad scientist on all the tracks, totally screw up the mix, and then simply import the "before" settings from one of the backup files. Much more convenient than saving presets for each plugin on each track IMO. It's also been great to have this option when I've made a mistake, like removing plugins from the wrong tracks. No worries - import plugin assignments and settings from the backups. It really is a powerful feature.

Is there a keyboard short cut for saving plugin settings.
