Default Service Pack 2 on TDM Mix

I'm currently using an Old TDM Mix system v6.4. I know that Digi didn't allow upgrading to Service pack 2, until the HD systems came out. I want to buy a software that requires Service pack 2 as a minimum, but I'm not sure if I do this, Protools will work on Service Pack 2. Has anyone been able to use Service pack 2 or higher on TDM mix 6.4 successfully?

Someone else will probably chime with a more detailed response, but if I remember right there are several people on here running mix with xp SP2.... I believe SP3 is where the uncharted territory begins.

While I can't speak for TDM I've run a 001 on SP2 and SP3 in LE land with 6.4cs9 and cs6. It seems happy enough with 6.4.

yeah, I've seen that 001's and Mbox's are happy w/ the Service pk2, not sure about the TDM Mix stuff. By the way, have you per chance tried using your 001 or perhaps LE with the old TDM mix interfaces, like the 882's?

It won't work. The only thing that will connect to the digi 001 card is it's own breakout box. LE and TDM hardware are not interchangeable.
