Default SSL Exception attempting to upload Project

A friend and I both run PT and have been sharing Projects back and forth. Last time we tried this (several months ago) it worked well. I attempted to create and upload a new Project a few days ago, and every time I start the upload, attempt to share a track, etc, I get an SSL Exception error. The details, from the Task Manager window:

Failed: SSL Exception: error:14090086:SSL routines:ssl3_get_server_certificate:certificate verify failed

We've verified that there is space available for the Project, so that's not it. Perhaps I've got a bad cached certificate hanging around somewhere?

I can run PT locally with a Session fine, or edit the Project locally, all else works as well as it ever does ... I just can't share or upload anything.

I'm getting the same error too. Was on 12.5, updated to 12.7.1 and same problem. Anyone figure it out? I submitted a ticket, but no info yet.

thanks
