I was simply freaking out when I got this message.

I restarted right away, same message!!!...Then I was thinking, that's it, it's dead (001) and just before really freakin out about everything I would have to do to fix it I thought of you guys here at DUC. Only you, could save me!!!

Got myself a "cigarette" and was ready to post about my misery when all of a sudden, a little voice (remember the "cigarette"!) told me "it can't be that bad, think of what you did last". Then, like a "mirage", from the corner of my eye I saw my long, red, MIDI cable running from my old K4 out to the 001 in. Unplugged it, relaunched PT and BINGO!

Searched this forums and didn't see anything addressing this issue.

So I thought I'd post about this to see if it was a knonw issue. Is it? If so, anybody knows why the K4(Kawai keyboard) couldn't be hooked up to the 001 before launching? Is this the case for any MIDI devices plugged to the 001 MIDI in? Once ProTools is launched I can plug the K4 without problems.

The main reason for posting this is of course to try to help others with similar problem but I would like to know if anyone else experienced similar problem.
