No console, monitors, what's the difference between tdm and hd. How much would you have to spend?

That is more than the new HD system although you do get one of those funny looking Macs thrown in on the deal and a few plugins. For that price you can own the OO1, a Cranesong Spider 8 Channel A/D and D/A with Pres and mini mixer ( that would blow the Digi A/D and pres out of the water), http://www.cranesong.com/spider.html the full Waves Platinum bundle, the fastest PC with XP pro and PTLE 5.3. Hmmmm. Am I missing something here? Ok I'll throw in a BLUE Baby Bottle mic and that bragged about Reason 2.0 too. Now if that system goes for over 13k, I'll throw in a Soundelux mic on the deal and a Yamaha Motif or Korg Triton Studio keyboard. Whew.

There is a big difference between TDM and HD.. This is not worth the money.
