Problems recording...

Hi everybody,

My guitar is correctly plugged in, because not only can I hear myself, but I can also see the signal (see A on the attached photo).

However, when I hit the Record button, there comes only this box where my sound is supposed to be (B in the photo), but there is no sound recorded, as you can see.
Anyone out there that can help? Thank you.

By the way, the three other tracks were imported as sound files, and were not recorded with Avid.
