Default De-Reverberation / Transient Designer

What do you guys think of De-Reverberation / Transient Designer? I was looking into taking some of my crappy room round out of my drum tracks and stumbled upon this. The De-Verb plug seems to be people's favorite. I haven't had a chance to try out the demo yet, but it sounds promising. Anyone use this type of plug and have suggestions on others besides De-Verb? Thanks.

Who's plugins are these? There's a whole host of transient designer-type plugins out there.

The De-Verb one I mentioned is based off the SPL De-Verb unit. The plug's made by Plugin Alliance. I just downloaded the demo a few minutes ago.

One of the best so far and the only one IMHO which really removes reverb without it sounding like a gate is Unveil by Zynaptiq.
I do admit that I haven't tried the others much though.

+1

Transient Designer type plug-ins can be good at taming/enhancing the sustain of more percussive sounds.
