Don't want to hear input of what I'm recording while track is record mode. How?
Very basic question.
Pro Tools 2018 12.0 - Mbox Pro I want to record a track and not listen/monitor that track when I am recording. Example: I want to record a guitar track. I have a bass track already recorded. While recording I just want to hear the bass track through my headphones. I do not want to hear the real-time guitar through my headphones I am recording. I just want to hear the bass track. I cannot turn off the input on the plugged-in guitar microphone. It is always on - even when not recording. I'm pretty sure that in the past I just activated the "M" mute button on the guitar track and I did not hear the guitar microphone through my headphones. This does not work now. What am I doing wrong? |
